More snow

It is supposed to snow even more today. Ugh! We already had enough to call a snow day (not us... the local PS) on Friday. The last thing we need is more snow!

Spent most of yesterday at the hospital, sitting with the family of the neighbor. He is still in the hospital and had to have emergency surgery yesterday. Not a good thing for an 86 year old, to be sure. I had to leave to get the kids to archery before he was out of surgery, but last I heard things went well.

Archery last night was good. Christian is improving by leaps and bounds each meeting. My mom got him a bow for his birthday, so once he gets his own equipment, I think he will be much more comfortable. Not sure if Alex and Ethan are getting better. They decided they don't want to keep score. I am going to have them start, though... it is hard to know if you are improving if you don't know where you started, KWIM? It looks like they are improving, but without numbers, who knows?

They are going to start a service project at the beginning of the year. Somehow, I was put in charge of that. lol We are going to do Read to Feed.

We are going to have a pool party in January for the 4-H kids. They decided last night that they want to have a party every week...

Not much else going on around here. We are staying home today. Once we are done with school we might bake some cookies and head to the pool, but that is the extent of our exciting day. Well, that and the ever present pile of laundry.
